PbS and PbSe detectorsHigh performing Lead Selenide (PbSe) and Lead Sulfide (PbS) detectors and arrays which are used in numerous applications, such as spectroscopy, Imaging, medical, automotive exhaust systems and gas analysis. The detectors are sensitive in the 1 - 5.5 µm wavelengths and come in standard or custom packages. Single element, multi-color and array configurations are available with spectral filters, thermoelectric coolers and temperature sensors.
Cal Sensors high value detectors with a spectral response in the wavelength region of 1 - 3 µm and typical detectivity of 3E+11. Cooling the detector improves detectivity, responsivity and spectral response and stabilizes the performance. There are many configurations available, both un-cooled and with built-in TE cooling in the packages. The time constant is less than 100 microseconds at dark resistance of 1 MOhm. Standard packages are welded, hermetically sealed and backfilled with dry inert gas. Sizes are square pixels of 1, 2 and 3 mm and substrate can be customized per specific needs.

These arrays fulfill the needs of IR spectrometry and thermography applications where multiple signatures need to be differentiated and high measurement accuracy, stability and resolution is essential. The standard configuration uses six array elements to interface with isolated compensation elements for real-time measurement analysis and calibration adjustment.
